The following day, Vash encountered [[Legato Bluesummers (manga)|Legato Bluesummers]] outside in the city center, who left a paper bag that was leaking blood on the bench as a "gift" which contained a "lesson" for Vash. Moments later, the shoemaker's wife came running into streets yelling for help as her husband's head was gone.
